Staff in resource positions like the Village Directors, Health Officers, and waterfront staff will join together for one additional week of intensive camp orientation and training.

Cabin staff will join with the resource staff to learn more about what the summer at Camp Marrowbone is going to look like!

Our very first week of camp! Everyone ages 8-17 is welcome!

The camp week runs from Sunday afternoon until Saturday morning and is filled with activities for everyone.

The camp bus (or suburban/minivan) will swing through designated communities each week to pick up campers and then drop them off again at the end.

Each day includes 3 meals, new activities, and a lot of fun!

Activities at camp include lots of time in the water, swimming, canoeing, and paddle boarding! We also do land activities such as biking, nature hikes, and arts and crafts! Some activities we try just once, and others we go back to several times.

Each week also includes a Lakota cultural component and usually a guest speaker or two! If the weather is good, we even sleep in tipis under the stars.

Camp staff and volunteers will spend the week closing camp down and making sure everything is clean for next year!
